The great “Celebrate Happy” celebration of Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary is going on now and will last through the summer of 2026. This milestone event ensures that guests of all ages can enjoy the magic through a combination of new activities and nostalgic homage.
The return of the well-loved “Paint the Night” parade, which includes over a million LED lights and appearances by popular Disney and Pixar characters, is one of the highlights. In addition, Disney California Adventure Park’s brand-new “World of Color – Happiness!” show features dramatic fountains, lighting effects, and a special performance of Boyz II Men’s “Rainbow Connection” among clips from beloved films like “Turning Red” and “Tangled.”
Important upgrades to traditional attractions are also introduced during the festival. “It’s a Small World” now features characters Miguel and Dante from Pixar’s “Coco,” joining the iconic song with a vivid marigold bridge backdrop. Guests can also enjoy the “Celebrate Happy Cavalcade” parade, the “Tapestry of Happiness” nighttime projection show, and the return of the “Wondrous Journeys” fireworks and multimedia show at Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Disneyland has introduced a number of unique souvenir collections for guests who want to bring a bit of the festivities home. Vibrant clothing and accessories from the “Celebration Collection” include partnerships with Loungefly and Dooney & Bourke. The “Vault Collection” revives vintage-inspired pieces honoring Disneyland’s early years, while the “Castle Collection” offers sophisticated designs influenced by Sleeping Beauty Castle. Additionally, the “Walt Disney Nostalgia Collection” pays tribute to Walt Disney himself with apparel featuring his famous quotes and collectibles inspired by his office.
Disneyland Resort is providing exclusive accommodation and ticket deals in order to maximize the celebration. For trips from May 16 through August 14, 2025, visitors can buy a 3-Day, 1-Park per day ticket for $360 or a 4-Day, 1-Park per day ticket for $400. From May 16 to September 26, 2025, visitors can also take advantage of discounts of up to 30% on some hotel stays of four or more nights at Disneyland Resort hotels.
